Rowan Photography Studio is committed to combining client’s aspirations with an artist eye, creative thought process and technological know-how, to create heartwarming memories that will last a lifetime.

Owner and primary photographer, Alison Saunders, has had a love affair with photography and taking pictures for over 20 years. In that time she has taken countless family and children photos and individual portraits of a variety of genres.  In September of 2011, she officially opened Rowan Photography Studio in quiet and beautiful Cambridge (Hespeler), which was an exciting progression from her home based studio, and allowed her to pursue her passion on a full time basis. The Queen Street East store front location offered a permanent place to collaborate with clients and other artists and the joy of having incredible art created and shared with the community was both a joyous and a rewarding experience.

The genre of photography services also expanded, including to Fashion, where Alison began working with Kerri Mercer of Black Orchid Designs Alternative Couture. The synergetic energy between Alison and Kerri was so successful, that Black Orchid Designs moved their entire store into the existing Rowan Photography Studio. The continued success of these 2 strategic business partners allowed for a move across the street to their current space, a larger location, in April of 2013.

Among genre’s Alison is most known for, include Family, Pin Up, Vintage, Corporate, Pets and her fabulous print-on-the-spot Photo Booth, but has branched out to many different creative corners and is always looking for new projects!
